Hi, I’m Tara
A human and animal physiotherapist with a passion for restoring movement, comfort, and confidence in every body I work with.
My approach blends evidence-based physiotherapy with a compassionate, whole-being perspective. Whether I’m supporting an athlete recovering from injury, an older adult wanting to stay active, a dog with arthritis, or a horse returning to training, my goal is always the same: to help each client move better, feel better, and thrive.
Alongside my clinical work, I’m an enthusiastic dog-sport handler and trainer. I compete in agility with my two dogs, which has given me a deep, hands-on understanding of canine biomechanics, conditioning, injury prevention, and performance optimisation. Working with my own dogs has shaped the way I support clients, I know what it takes to keep active, high-drive dogs strong, flexible, and confident throughout all stages of training and competition.
With a background in human physiotherapy and specialised training in canine and equine rehabilitation, I offer tailored assessments and treatment plans that combine manual therapy, strength and conditioning, exercise rehabilitation, laser therapy, TENS, joint mobilisation, functional movement retraining, and performance-focused programs for sporting dogs.
I love working collaboratively with clients, vets, families, and other allied health professionals to create practical, achievable pathways to recovery.
My philosophy is simple: movement is medicine — for humans and animals alike.
Whether you or your companion need help healing from injury, managing chronic pain, improving performance, or maintaining wellbeing, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
